The positive-pressure transport bag offers dual functionality:
It protects casualties from exposure to external hazardous gases and particulates during transport.
It prevents secondarily contaminated individuals from spreading radioactive contaminants to the surrounding environment during transit, effectively containing and inhibiting the outward dispersion of toxic or hazardous gases.
The transport bag is constructed from chemical-resistant composite materials with good breathability, effectively blocking solid particles and radioactive aerosols.
Used in conjunction with a filtered, electric-powered blower, the positive-pressure system creates a comfortable internal airflow circulation. Any excess air exiting the bag passes through a filtration system for safe, decontaminated exhaust. A transparent face window allows clear visual monitoring of the casualty’s condition.
The bag features a full-length, large-opening zipper design, enabling it to be fully opened for easy casualty entry while maintaining an airtight seal when closed.
